    Wow... we are on the same brain waves as I have been thinking about yoga quite a bit lately.

    Unlike yourself, I am just getting into yoga. I had tried it previously, but didn't really care for it. However, I have been bouldering the past 6 weeks and keep getting a handful of injuries. I decided to swing by a yoga studio one rest day and feel like it has really helped limit the injuries.

    HI Rachel! That's great to hear! Like most things in life, balance is always key. I love rock climbing, but I need to move my body in other ways to help balance out the muscles. Similarly, people who only do yoga can start to get over use injuries from that! The two sports together, though, seem to be very good.

    Great article! I've only been dabbling in Yoga but I really like your point about it being a counter to climbing.

    I think I'm going to work in a Yoga break today :)

    Hi Rachel, Just reading the article. Great connection between yoga and climbing. I've been contemplating the exact same thing--the similarities between yoga and climbing, moving from one position to the next. The movements are addicting! I'm writing a blog entry on something similar right now, so I'm glad to have read this before posting! Hope you are still enjoying both!
