Women were viewed as nothing more than property, and since it was commissioned by The Church, the prejudices of Catholicism had a huge influence on the content.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Plus, it's a fairly well-documented fact (ok, just really suspicion and rumour) that Michaelangelo was gay, so he would've rather painted naked men than naked women.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Just sayin'.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">sean</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 17 Jul 2007 22:38:34 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
