haha...you can see that i am reading this slowly backwards.

what did you think of the ironclads? mt. boner is ok but punk rock is total garbage - but still a great place to bring a kid if you can keep him from eating all of the glass and bullets lying around. or out of the way of the four wheeling yahoos.

i didn't do either of the climbs that you all did here, but if you make if back you (kate) should definitely do shaking the popes hand - very nice and long. and mark should get on smack the cold booty - a nice 11 that is not terribly intense. other than that, this place should be avoided like the plague as there are lots of other excellent spots in the area that don't have kids walking around with semi-automatic rifles (lily lake comes to mind immediately).

Yeah, I know exactly which climb is "Shaking the Pope's Hand" and every time we've gone there I've stared up at that climb and said "I'm going to lead this today!" And then I fry myself of some stupid 5.11 on Punk Rock and/or it starts raining and/or a group of 15 people show up and all start climbing it. This time it was the rain.

I know there are a lot of better climbs further down the road. These two rocks are like the worst of the IronClads, but we've never been down there. Maybe next spring. And Lilly Lake sounds great, but bad for doggies as it crosses the National Park so we may not spend much time there.
